There Are Still Good People

I love my Moleskine. It goes with me everywhere. In it is my journal, sermon notes, ideas for papers/Bible Studies/questions and ruminations, and a general to do list for me to keep track of everything going on in my life. Seriously, without it, I'd be lost and in lots of trouble.

Yesterday, at school, I was sitting in a study lounge, working on some notes for a seminar that I'm speaking at this weekend. I had been jotting notes and thoughts into my Moleskine over the past few weeks, so I was consulting it as I worked. It was nearing time for class, so I gathered everything up and headed to my next class. My phone rang, and it was a number I didn't recognize. When I answered it, a lady had found my Moleskine. I went back, and was able to collect my notebook.

I'm thankful for good people, who will take just a little bit of time to call someone when they lose their Moleskine.
