About me

who's this?

Hi. I'm Brad, an apostolic husband, father, musician, writer, and podcast enthusiast.

I was born in 1982 and sent home to two people I'd never met, neither of whom had any experience raising children. It was a situation ripe for adventure.

I grew up in Indianapolis, where I was a band geek through middle school and high school. I went off to college, and after a couple of false starts, I graduated with a BA in English Writing & Literacy and Political Science.

I married my wonderful wife, Heidi (pictured above), who was clearly delirious when she married me. Why am I smiling? Because she's way out of my league and I've locked her down. We have two wonderful little boys who are constant sources of laughter and joy.

I work for a manufacturing company that makes supplements for livestock feed - literally, I make vitamins for your food. We're owned by a multinational conglomerate that is owned by another multinational conglomerate. I work in quality assurance as a lab technician, where I test and visually inspect the product throughout the production process.

I love to read, play with Apple gadgets, think about technology and culture, discuss religion and philosophy and theology, cook for my friends, and drink strong coffee.

I also produce a podcast with my good friend Ryan French, where we do the weekly Apostolic Voice Podcast. Take a listen, and if you enjoy it, subscribe and leave us a rating in iTunes.
